The Founder
Swadeshi Pitara was founded by Shweta S. Sarma, an engineering graduate turned entrepreneur, with a heart deeply rooted in India’s cultural traditions. Having grown up surrounded by heritage and artistry, she dreamed of creating a brand that honored India’s craftsmanship while empowering women to embrace jewellery as a part of their everyday strength and beauty.
Her journey has been one of discovery — from studying ancient jewellery forms to working closely with artisans across India. With Swadeshi Pitara, Shweta brings together her entrepreneurial spirit and her passion for preserving traditions in a way that feels fresh, relevant, and timeless.
